Community gallery

The gallery is waiting on the campaign’s photographs

Every image here is exported by the campaign from its own accounts and cleared for rights before it appears. Nothing on this page is scraped from Facebook or Instagram, and no photograph of a child appears without written consent from a parent or guardian.

How photographs get onto this page

  1. The campaign creates a shared folder with three subfolders: approved-public, needs-review, do-not-use.
  2. It exports its own images from Meta Business Suite and Instagram's “download your information” — official exports, never a crawler. Scraping those platforms breaks their terms and would get the gallery taken down.
  3. An ingest script strips EXIF (including GPS), generates AVIF and WebP at five widths, produces a blurhash placeholder, drafts alternative text, and flags any frame that appears to contain a child.
  4. A human moves an image into approved-public only when rights are confirmed and, for any identifiable minor, written parental consent is on file. Nothing is promoted automatically.
  5. This page renders approved-public and nothing else.

Photographs of children without documented parental consent are a launch blocker on this project. That is not a formality — it is the single most likely way a well-meaning local campaign hurts somebody.
