What a canvass shift is actually like
Two hours, a list of about sixty doors in your own village, and a script you are welcome
to ignore. Most conversations last ninety seconds. Roughly a third of doors do not
answer. Nobody argues with you about national politics because this is a nonpartisan
municipal race and the ballot has no party on it.
